P.00Pricing & earned income

P.01The earned income model

Three revenue streams, all earned.

Most of the revenue comes from the success fee, the part where our interests and the customer's interests are tightly aligned. Subscription and premium reporting sit on top for businesses that need more from the platform.

R.01
Most of revenue

Success fee

8 to 10%

per completed exchange

Charged when a buyer and seller settle a real transaction on the platform. No fee on listings, no fee on browsing, no fee on quotes that go nowhere.

  • Capped at agreed maximum on very large lots
  • Split or single-side, depending on engagement type
  • No fee if an exchange is cancelled before settlement
R.02
Recurring access

Workspace subscription

From 2 400 DKK

per side, per month

Platform access for both sides of the marketplace. Includes verified counterparty layer, listings, quote management, and the impact dashboard.

  • Both sellers and buyers can subscribe
  • Annual billing available with built-in discount
  • Stacks with the success fee, does not replace it
R.03
Larger operators

CSRD premium tier

From 12 000 DKK

per year, custom for enterprise

For larger buyers with formal disclosure obligations. CSRD-aligned impact reporting embedded in the platform, plus methodology documents auditors can review.

  • ESRS E5 topic mapping out of the box
  • Per-exchange data export for finance and audit
  • Single tenant data residency in Denmark

Indicative pricing. Final commercial terms confirmed during onboarding and tied to expected exchange volume.

P.03Unit economics

Capital-light by design, margin holds at scale.

We do not own inventory. We do not handle materials physically. The variable cost of one more exchange is small, so each completed exchange contributes most of its revenue back to the business.

Contribution margin per exchange

Holds steady as volume grows because the variable cost of one more exchange is small.

P.04Market-funded by design

No grants. No donations.

Every krone that flows through SecondSource is a real exchange between two paying companies. That is a deliberate choice, and a requirement under the RSV framework we operate against.

It is also what gives our impact claim its commercial legitimacy. Numbers backed by transactions, not by philanthropy.

F.01

Real exchanges only

The dashboard moves when material settles. No estimates, no projections, no annualised assumptions.

F.02

Two paying companies

Both sides of every transaction are verified Danish businesses. No anonymous listings, no offsets, no credits.

F.03

RSV-aligned

The Recirkulering, Stoffer og Værdi framework requires market-funded operation. We meet that bar.

F.04

Audit-ready

Per-exchange data, methodology versioning, and counterparty registry available for review.
